Shawn Gidley spent 13 years with the City of Cleveland working across finance, public safety, and economic development. Before that work ever had a name, he was learning what it means to build systems that serve people under pressure, at scale, and with consistency.
In 2012 he founded a luxury experience based photography business in Cleveland, serving newborn, children, and family clients. He wasn't the photographer. He was the architect. He built the client experience, the systems, the operations, and the brand from the ground up. Over 13 years that business became award winning and regionally recognized, not because of the photography alone, but because of how clients felt every step of the way. He sold the business in 2025.
In 2018 Shawn was selected for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, one of the most competitive small business development programs in the country. That experience sharpened his understanding of what separates businesses that scale from businesses that stall.
